A CALL TO TRANSFORMATION

A CALL TO TRANSFORMATION
According to Sir Newton, an object will forever remain in the same position until an external force is being applied to change its position. Relatively, the beauty of the butterfly cannot be truly appreciated until it has gone through the metamorphic process. And similarly, we humans are like objects whose lives can be static or progressively changing from one form of glory (success) to another. Our lives will constantly remain the same from one year to another with no tangible proof of success until an external force is applied to our lives that can change us. This change is what I call TRANSFORMATION.

Transformation changes you and reveals the hidden glory in you. It exposes you to the great wealth of potentials stored in you that has never been noticed. This means every sinner walking past you in the street has the potential to be a bishop, pastor, evangelist, deacon or deaconess; every single human out there who looks to be a waste has the potential to be a musician, writer, poet, fashion designer, a doctor, lawyer, engineer or whatever they could discover is their gifting. But this true identity will remains silent until we embrace transformation to change our old man to see this new nature. CHANGE is the WATCHWORD which many of us are so afraid to embrace because it will actually change you from the person you are used to be, to a different species.

You can change your name, your address, your cream, your hairstyle, you can even change your clothing but not until you change your MIND, the same experience will perpetuate itself in your life like nothing has ever happened to you. True transformation takes place in your mind and this will ultimately reflect in your outward appearance.
Let me talk about three bullets that can transform or destroy you.

JAYPEE 101
We have often times blamed others for our failures, shortcomings and inabilities to get successful results, but the reality is that the finger still points back to you. The beginning of transformation rises and falls on the individuality. Jaypee 101 is the act of taking personal responsibility and courage to pursue the ideas, plans and vision set before you. Nobody can change you except you. Nobody owe you nothing. You owe yourself to be better. So your name 101 is a call to rise up and take up the responsibility to change the results of life.

BONSAI EFFECT
Trees like the iroko tree have the tendency to grow as tall as it can get. Bonsai effect is a Chinese practice that takes the tree/plants and put it inside a vase/tray in order to limit their growth ability. That’s how many of us had bonsai our lives. We have limited our growth in life. Most of us have stopped growing because of some sort of level we think we have attained forgetting that we are not created to be limited in our pursuit for greatness. Some or have allowed their low family's influence limit how far they can go in life. Your lack of certificates  could also have stalled your growth or what you think you can't do, pressing you down to make you ignore the good things you can do. Some have allowed traditions to also hinder their happiness. My simple message today is Don’t bonsai your life. Don't stop yourself from pursuing your dreams. Don't stop yourself from growing. Keep improving the quality of your life. You can go as far as you can imagine.

I MET A BARRISTER -GreatGlorious

During my second year in school, the alumni arm of the fellowship body I attended was to hold a 3-day conference. As the welfare coordinator in fellowship then, I was involved in the program planning process. This helped created a cordial relationship between me and most of the alumni. The D-day came; due to the numerous planning activities, I became so exhausted and decided to rest a little before attending the program. I ended up getting to the venue when the program was already closing. I made way to some of the alumni I knew and greeted them. Among them was a fair young man, he looked like a white man whom I have never seen before. He seemed to be attending the conference for the first time. I pondered on who he was but never really cared and went about my business. The second day came which coincided with an activity I had in school. Owing to my responsibility, I had to forfeit it for the conference. I was not really happy with the decision I made, so I sat at the back of...

WHAT'S YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO LIFE❓

WHAT'S YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO LIFE❓ Everyone and everything on earth has something to contribute to life however big or however small. The trees, the sun, the moon, the sand, insects, cars, ideas and everything existing whether animate or inanimate has a lot to fulfill. If animals and even inanimate object contributes to living and has things to offer the world; thoughts like why humans created with better features and qualities feel they have nothing to offer this world can't help but peruse my mind. Reminiscing on these thoughts, I think it's because people has lost sight of the value of the little things. As the saying goes, "little drops of water makes a might ocean", that little smile can start a life changing relationship. That kind act of love can save a generation. That transport fare paid for that stranger can make a billionaire. That silent prayer said can heal a life. Talk more of the teachings we've been giving out to thousands of pe...

BUSINESS NEEDS YOU TO GROW - Daniel Israel

When a brother/friend starts a new business, the first thought that comes to mind is  " At least I fit owe, pay later". "Them suppose dash me something". "Pepper don rest for their side", (whereas pepper just left their side with hopes that it comes back). According to survey, 90% of businesses die in the first 5 years. One of the chief causes of this statistics is the above mentioned mindset (among others). A new business needs support and care, rather than borrow, give. Even if you don't deal out cash to them, become a regular purchaser.(because at the end you must still buy, either from them or someone else). If you're not helping them build, at least don't break them. Help friends get out of the 5 years challenge and watch them deal you gifts with time. Business is sweet, people are difficult!!
